My Grading System

A+ = Masterpiece (I hold back on this one.) / A = Great. / A- = Really Good. / B+ = Good. / B = Decent (Serviceable). / B- = Flawed but okay (For those times there's something redeeming about the work). / C+ = Not very good (Skip it). C = Bad. / C- = Awful. / F = Complete Disaster (I hold back on this one too).

Note on Spoilers: I will try to avoid ruining a story by going into too much detail. But if I wish to include some revealing points to my analysis I will try to remember to add a separate spoiler paragraph.

The Debt (2011)

The story of three Israel operatives who enter Germany to kidnap a cruel Nazi doctor and take him to Israel to be tried on his crimes against humanity.  Yet they fail and what they do next will haunt them for the rest of their lives.  Staring a fine cast with Helen Mirren standing out, there's a lot to like about this film. The problem is that its story is a little hard to swallow and the end, while exciting, is a little manufactured for the purpose of a final.  Grade: B+
