My Grading System
A+ = Masterpiece (I hold back on this one.) / A = Great. / A- = Really Good. / B+ = Good. / B = Decent (Serviceable). / B- = Flawed but okay (For those times there's something redeeming about the work). / C+ = Not very good (Skip it). C = Bad. / C- = Awful. / F = Complete Disaster (I hold back on this one too).
Note on Spoilers: I will try to avoid ruining a story by going into too much detail. But if I wish to include some revealing points to my analysis I will try to remember to add a separate spoiler paragraph.

The Last American Hero (1979)
The young Jeff Bridges stars in the bio film on Junior Jackson. I’m not a
huge fan of car racing and it’s a writer’s nightmare to make cars driving around
in circles exciting, yet this drama is actually quite good. Sure the story’s
been done a billion times: underdog from humble beginnings dreams big and
against all odds take on the world. But the film is so well-crafted and genuine
that it’s really hard not to root for the hero in this one. Grade: B+
