My Grading System

A+ = Masterpiece (I hold back on this one.) / A = Great. / A- = Really Good. / B+ = Good. / B = Decent (Serviceable). / B- = Flawed but okay (For those times there's something redeeming about the work). / C+ = Not very good (Skip it). C = Bad. / C- = Awful. / F = Complete Disaster (I hold back on this one too).

Note on Spoilers: I will try to avoid ruining a story by going into too much detail. But if I wish to include some revealing points to my analysis I will try to remember to add a separate spoiler paragraph.

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2013)

As horror films go this one is pretty good if a bit predictable. Amanda Heard plays the title character, a shy girl who is invited by a bunch of popular rich kids to a weekend retreat at a parent’s farm. The boys of the rich kids hope to seduce her into bed because she’s attractive and appears ripe for picking.  Yet someone has followed Mandy Lane and this mysterious person is a killer. Could this have been better? Certainly.  But it is serviceable horror film which should please anyone looking for a fun little sinister film.  Just don’t expect anything grand. Grade: B
